I bought this frame today to remind myself to keep the hunger to want to see the world. It’s so easy to get lost in the everyday worry of whether or not you’re going to make your car payment on time for the month, or worrying about paying your student loans. The shitty thing about growing up and getting older is that the older we get, the more we seem to lose our sense of wonder and imagination. I don’t want that to happen to me, or anybody for that matter.
Seeing the Eiffel Tower is one things that I’ve always dreamed of. I know the focal point of the picture is the couple kissing in front of the tower, but that’s not what drew me to it. The picture itself is magical. It reminded me to keep the dream of wanting to visit alive, and I am. I don’t know if I am going this year or next year, but one day, I will be there.
