I love Carrie Underwood and the fact that she isn’t afraid to speak up for animals despite her country following. I live in Texas and people who listen to country music are sometimes an avid part of the hunting culture. I will NEVER understand why people consider hunting a sport, nor do I care to, however, Carrie has always been one to stand up for animals. She’s the face of Oil of Olay, and they are one of the companies who still refuse to stop animal testing. Same goes for pop singer, Pink, who is also a vegetarian. Covergirl Cosmetics also test on animals.
Do I think too much into my vegetarianism? I am speaking for myself when I say that I would never endorse a product that so cruelly tests on the animals I claim to love.
It’s so disappointing how money can make someone’s beliefs fall to the side.
What do you think? Is my disappointment merited, or am I being dramatic?
